The TM-203 HDEFIR is a groundbreaking Full HD 1080p camera with quality unseen from an analogue camera. Using standard RG59 coaxial cable, our HD-SDI camera range is as easy to install and use as standard analogue cameras. Video is sent uncompressed with no latency issues. The latest Sony sensor is used to give amazing crystal clear images that accurately capture every aspect and detail of any scene.

What is HD-SDI? High Definition (HD) & Serial Digital Interface (SDI), technology allows HD video signals to be sent over standard Coax cable, such as RG59, without any pixelation of the image or latency/time delay. Therefore, as no compression is required for transmission, you will have the best live views unlike IP cameras.

Until recently, the only option for HD resolution was to adopt MP IP cameras. Now, our range of HD-SDI cameras are an alternative. With HD-SDI, you no longer need to extend a local-site IP LAN all the way to every HD camera in order to deliver the benefits of HD video. Our HD-SDI cameras re-use most existing coaxial cables, making it possible to easily upgrade CCTV cameras to Digital HD surveillance without any fuss. Meanwhile, by sending the video signal uncompressed and without delay, our HD-SDI cameras usually deliver better live views than the MP IP camera alternatives.


The superior anti-noise technology gives you a clearer, noise-free image in low-light conditions whilst also drastically reduces storage space and transmission size. Coupled with 3D-DNR (3D Digital Noise Reduction), noise is further suppressed. These powerful technologies perform a pixel-by-pixel audit of the pictures which check for any anomalies, thereby rectifying them giving a fantastic Signal-to-Noise Ratio (S/N Ratio). An example below shows the affect that noise can have on an image.

Using the camera’s joystick, you can control the camera’s full configurable settings, including: back light control, day & night, AGC, noise reduction, auto iris, white balance, and more. This extends the possibilities to optimise every single camera for each position in your set up as every position/location has different lighting conditions.

A high quality camera needs a high quality lens. The 3MP 4.2mm lens with DC Auto-Iris continuously samples the amount of light hitting the image sensor and opens/closes the iris accordingly. This is extremely valuable in settings where light levels are constantly changing.

A disadvantage for a camera which is used outdoors is that it will lose the natural day colour as it will pick up the IR emitted from the Sun. As a result, we’ve developed a mechanical IR-Cut Filter (ICR) which filters out the infra-red daylight to give you a natural daylight colour. When the illumination lowers, the ICR will automatically open allowing more light to enter so that you have total night vision.

The high quality infra-red IR LEDs eliminate IR saturation which most cameras suffer from. To enhance this further, we have developed an advanced Smart IR technology to further reduce saturation as seen above. It is fitted with 36 IR LEDs that allow the camera to be used in total darkness up to a range of 30m.
